BJJ With Dan Caulfield April 2nd

Please join us in welcoming Daniel Caulfield for a night of BJJ on Tuesday, April 2nd at 7:30.
Daniel Caulfield is the owner and head instructor of Flow Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Keene, NH. For the last four years at Flow he has taught and trained at his growing school. His students have taken gold medals at the IBJJF Pan No-Gi Championships, The Boston International Open, The New York Open, and many NAGA and local NNE competitions. Two of Flow’s students medaled at the World Senior and Master IBJJF Competition in 2012.

Dan has been studying the martial arts for 20 years. He holds a shodan (black belt) in Aikido through Hiroshi Ikeda (2000), has over ten years of Tai Chi experience under several of Cheng Man Ching’s direct students, including the renowned Grandmaster William C.C. Chen, and has studied under Brazilian Jiu Jitsu luminaries Marcelo Garcia, John Machado and Jucao Brites. Dan is currently a Jiu Jitsu brown belt under Jucao (Ailson Henrique) Brites.

From 2002 through 2004 Dan represented William C.C. Chen’s push hands team, competing nationally and internationally. After winning the gold medal in his weight division in 2003, he went on to place first in every weight division at the 2004 AAU championships. Later that year he claimed two silver medals at the push hands world championships in Taipei, Taiwan. After a seven-year layoff from competition, Dan took first place in his division at the New York Open, IBJJF International Tournament in April, 2012.

Dan is a graduate of Naropa University (2000) where he earned dual degrees in Traditional Eastern Arts and Buddhist and Western Psychology. We look forward to learning and sharing with Dan on April 2nd at 7:30pm.
