Workout of the week 4-30-2012

This week, we will be doing the same, three phase workout each day. Please begin on your own upon arriving at the dojo. Enjoy!!

Phase I – Set timer to 6 rounds of 50/10

1) Rear lunge/ kick /toe touch–lunge back with right leg, touch ground with right hand, kick right leg straight out and touch right toe with left hand, repeat- alternating sides

2) Plyo star abs–begin laying flat with arms and legs in star position, explode up touching opposite hand to toe, repeat-alternating sides

3) Lowjacks–holding sandbag, jumping jacks from low squat position

Phase II – Set timer to 3 rounds of 2 minutes work / 2 seconds rest

1) Sandbag squat and press
2) Assorted pushups
3) Around the world with sandbag

Phase III

Run the stairs 3x (5 flights, 3x)
