Checkmate Self Defense

There will be no classes Friday Dec 23 or Saturday Dec 24th. Have a great holiday weekend everyone!

Our annual Checkmate holiday party will be held on Saturday, January 14th at 5:30pm. Food, drinks, games…perhaps cookie face races. (See youtube channel “other checkmate videos” for excerpts from last years event). There will be a food sign up sheet at the dojo if you would like to bring something. See you there!

There will be no classes on Thursday the 24th or Friday the 25th. On Saturday morning we will be having a turkey-burner workout…bring a towel:-)

Just to clarify the previous post: kids class is cancelled. The dojo will be open for informal training and open to all for device charging.

As many of us are without power still and have much to attend to, we will not be holding formal classes tonight. However there IS power in the building and I will be here for most of the day so please feel free to come by, warm up, charge your devices and say hello. Feel free to extend the invitation.

Possible upcoming “Weapons Retention” course. This course is geared towards those who operate and carry firearms. There are no pre-requisites and the course is open to responsible citizens, law enforcement/correctional officers, security professionals and military personnel.
