Today’s Workout 1-3-2012

Today’s workout is a 20 min Cardio set that consists of 5 exercises for 4 mins each. The work interval is 20 sec followed by a 10 sec rest interval. As with any exercise make sure you are medically sound to perform this by consulting a physician before attempting seriously strenuous activity. If you feel faint or feel as if you’re going to get sick…stop! That having been said; have fun and enjoy the torture!

1. High knees with Jump rope (or no rope your choice)
 8 rounds / 20 sec work / 10 sec rest = 4min

2. Burpees (I’m sorry)
 8 rounds / 20 sec work / 10 sec rest = 4min

3. Jump lunges (you’ve all done these in class make sure you get low enough into the lunge position. The modification is the switch lunge without the jump.)
 8 rounds / 20 sec work / 10 sec rest = 4min

4. Long jump and hop (This is exercise is performed by doing one long jump forward followed by two small hops back)
 8 rounds / 20 sec work / 10 sec rest = 4min

5. Step forward (right leg)/Step back (right leg) step forward (left leg) step back (left leg) do this fast
 8 rounds / 20 sec work / 10 sec rest = 4min
